What types of PCB punching dies do you manufacture?
SKTECH: We manufacture custom PCB punching dies, PCB stamping dies and PCB punching tools for different PCB substrates, including soft boards, hardened boards, aluminum PCB boards and selected FPC applications. Our dies can be customized for PCB profile punching, hole punching, slot punching and panel separation according to your production requirements.
What is your production capacity?
SKTECH: Our factory can produce around 500 punch tools per month on average, supported by two working shifts. Actual capacity depends on die complexity, material requirements, drawing confirmation and production schedule. We support both regular batch orders and customized OEM/ODM PCB punching die projects.
Can you manufacture tools according to our own construction drawings?
SKTECH: Yes. We can manufacture PCB punching dies according to customers' tool construction drawings. We can also work from Gerber files, DXF drawings, CAD drawings, PCB samples or sample photos. Our engineering team can review your files and optimize the die structure based on your PCB material, thickness, press machine and production process.
What steel materials do you use for your PCB punching dies?
SKTECH: We commonly use SKD11 and DC53 tool steels for PCB punching die manufacturing. These materials are selected for wear resistance, durability and stable punching performance. Final material selection depends on PCB substrate, board thickness, die structure, expected tool life and production volume.
How many punch cycles can your PCB punching dies support?
SKTECH: Our PCB punching dies can typically support around 150,000 punch cycles, depending on PCB material, board thickness, punching shape, die clearance and maintenance conditions. For stable long-term production, we recommend grinding or maintenance around every 100,000 punch cycles.
What is your standard lead time?
SKTECH: For standard PCB punching die projects, the lead time can be as fast as 7 days after final confirmation of production files. For more complex dies, the lead time may vary depending on drawing review, material preparation, machining complexity and trial punching requirements.
Do you provide technical support after delivery?
SKTECH: Yes. We provide technical support for die use, adjustment and maintenance. We can also provide guidance for trial punching, grinding intervals, spare punches, inserts and long-term production maintenance according to your die structure and factory conditions.
